Obituary of Brother Bernard Farrell

Farrell, Brother Bernard, O. H. James Joseph , of Westville Grove, NJ on November 10, 2005. Aged 78 years. Born and raised in Tullow, County Carlow, Ireland, Brother Bernard served in the Hospitaler Order of St. John of God for more than 60 years. He spent most of those years in a leadership capacity serving early on as a Psychiatric Nurse and later as Director and Superior for many centers in Ireland and Korea. In 1975, Brother Bernard came to the United States serving in many leadership roles as Superior of the St. John of God Community in Westville Grove. Brother Bernard most enjoyed being in the presence of people and the children that he served and ministered to. He will be remembered as a happy man who was filled with dignity and grace in his life. Dear brother of Gerald & Thomas Farrell. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family and religious brothers. C. Church, Delsea Drive, Westville Grove, NJ Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 in the Church. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 AM in Most Holy Redeemer R.C.
