Obituary of Alvin E. Romer

ROMER?Alvin E. , Jr. of Wenonah on Nov. 11, 2005. Aged 68 years. Prior to retirement, Alvin worked as a burner for New York Shipyard, Gloucester City; Sunship, Chester PA; and Hallmark Steel of DE. Alvin will be remembered a strong willed man with a good sense of humor. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, visiting the Berlin Farmer?s Market and Beach Hill, National Park. Alvin loved his grandchildren and talking with friends in the neighborhood. He is the devoted father of Diane J. Larson, Alvin E., III, William, Kenneth and Robert Romer and loving grandfather of 9. Viewing Mon. 12 Noon in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, where his funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Interment Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua.
