Obituary of Ressie Whitfield Perry

PERRY, Ressie, Whitfield, 82, of Wildwood, NJ, formerly of West Deptford, on November 29, 2005. Beloved husband of 60 years of Jane nee Heslin. Father of ten children: Drew Hasson, Debbie Kendrick, Sandy Ratcliffe, Cliff Perry, Michele DePietro, Diane Fox, Denise Arena, Lisa Fritzscha, Mark Perry and the late Donald Perry. Grandfather of 22. Greatgrandfather of 6. Brother of the late Leonard & Donald Perry. Ressie was born in Zebulon, NC. He was a World War II Army veteran. Ressie and Jane met in Philadelphia while Ressie was visiting from North Carolina. Ressie was a busdriver for Greyhound for 36 years and he was especially proud of his safety record. He was a wonderful loving Southern Gentleman who never stopped loving his ?Bride? and his family. He enjoyed returning to the North Carolina farm each summer and Wildwood will always be a special place to the Perry family. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:30 ? 9:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. and Saturday at 9 AM in St. Matthew?s Church 4th & Monument Aves. National Park. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday in St. Matthew?s RC Church. Interment St. Joseph?s Cemetery Chews Landing. Donations may be made to the Donald L.
