Obituary of Samuel B. Nucifore

NUCIFORE, Samuel B., Sr., 82, of Clarksboro, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2005. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Samuel was a World War II Veteran. He was a 1949 graduate of the University of Penn-Wharton School of Business, achieving a Masters Degree and Doctorate Degree in Business. For over 30 years, Samuel was a Realty Officer for the Camden office of Housing and Urban Development HUD. He was also a former Treasurer of the Aliglieri Gamboldi Sons of Italy Society. At one time, Samuel was a shepherd herder with 28 sheep in his flock. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, vegetable gardening, and watching John Wayne and Bonanza. His greatest enjoyment in life was being with his children and grandchildren, especially during their annual trip to Wildwood Crest. Samuel will always be remembered for his special Christmas and Easter festivities, especially his ?special? Easter Egg hunt. Samuel was predeceased by his wife, Betty Marie Nee Long, his beloved eldest child, Barbara Anne Marino of Williamstown, and his sister, Lena Farrabella. Devoted father of Samuel B. , Jr. of Clarksboro, Frank A. of Woodbury, Rosemary Flanagan of Mantua, Betty Jean Keenan of Mullica Hill, Lori A. Nucifore of Spring City, Tennessee, and Sharon L. Carter of Mickleton. Loving grandfather of 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Viewing TUES. 6:30 TO 9 P.M. and WED. 8:30 to 9:45 A.M. in McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
