Obituary of Theodore Liscavage

LISCAVAGE, Theodore T., 81, of Oak Valley on December 26, 2005. Beloved husband of Eleanor A. nee Chukonis and father of Theresa Loeffler and Judy Neilio. Grandpop to Elizabeth, Lauren and Eddie. Ted is predeceased by his parents Simon and Mary Liscavage as well as his siblings, Alice Puida, Genevie Chestnut, Anna, Albert and Robert Liscavage. Ted was born Wilkes-Barre, PA. He was a World War II Army veteran and was part of the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Ted received the Silver Star and the Purple Heart during his service. He was most recently employed as a Clerk for Horizon Blue Cross & Blue Shield of New Jersey, he previously worked as a Pottery Caster for Universal Rundle and a Driver for Bond Bread. In his spare time, Ted was a member of the Mantua VFW Post 7679. Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:30-9:00 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. A second viewing will be held on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in St. Margaret?s RC Church 3rd & Elm Ave. Woodbury Heights. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Friday in the church. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, 1060 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
