BURNESS - Theresa A. nee Grassi of Verga suddenly on Dec. 31, 2005. Aged 81 years. Born in Philadelphia, Theresa was a resident of Verga most of her life. She was a devoted member of St. Matthew RC Church, National Park. Theresa was a member of the Court Queen of Peace Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Robert H. Jordan VFW Post # 7125 Ladies Auxiliary, Verga. In her free time, Theresa enjoyed taking trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, crocheting, cake decorating and other crafts. Theresa?s devotion as a dedicated Mother and homemaker will live on in her legacy of love which is her family; she is the beloved wife of the late Henry, devoted mother of Thomas Grassi Mary, Theresa Francesco Frank, Joseph Morello, Henry L. Burness Betty, Marie Augelli Michael, Robert Burness, Deborah Gasparovic Timothy, Bernadette Whyte Joseph, Lorraine Kirkbride Robert, Richard and Christopher Burness and the late Edward Burness, dear sister of Joan Marino, Rita Giordano, Barbara Moran, Lawrence Grassi, Geraldine McBride, Paul and Edward Grassi and the late Anthony, Joseph, Gerard, Amelia and Matthew Grassi, Patricia Murray and Rosemary Six, loving grandmother of 23 and great grandmother of 24 and 1 late grandson. Viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM and Sat. 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Sat. 10 AM in St. Matthew RC Church, National Park.
