HECHT, Alfred ?Zeke? of Woodbury Heights on January 11, 2006. Aged 73 years. Born and raised in Woodbury, Zeke enjoyed working in his brother?s motorcycle shop before graduating from Woodbury High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Before retiring, he worked for Bell Telephone in Woodbury Heights for 37 years. In his spare time, Zeke enjoyed surf fishing, repairing small engines and lawn mowers, riding motorcycles and gardening. Beloved husband of the late Doris Nee Strang. Devoted father of Marie JoeToppi of Franklinville, Jack Charlene of Medford, David Robin of Mantua Twp, Teresa Patak of Naples, FL, Carl of Woodbury Heights, Paul of West Deptford and the late Steven. Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 4. Dear brother of the late Charles, Frank and Erwin. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
