Mr and Mrs Decosta and family
On behalf of my wife sonia, son matthew and daughter shanna, please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow and saddness. I will always think of carol as a family member, as do i likewise think such of all of the decosta family....Carol was one of the finest people i have ever known, and when ever i come home to westville to visit,i always looked forward to stopping by to see carol and linda. I will never forget the wonderful conversation we had with carol during a recent visit during christmas at the decosta annual christmas party....She was absolutely thrilled to share her testimony about her deep faith, and i know that she believed in her heart that the lord truly loves her and forgives all who ask him to do such.I know in my heart that carols terrible suffering over the last year has been comforted, and was merely just for a brief moment when compared to the eternal peace and happiness she now resides in with her lord and savior. All of my thoughts of carol are happy ones, she was like a big sister to me in many ways.....Linda i know that you and your sister carol were very close, and i also know that your sorrow and lonliness will take alot of time for you to overcome...Please be strong, and be of strong faith, and continue the work in your church....your sister in heaven i know will be smilling.

To Rick and Family:
Carol was a beautiful person and too young to die. Their must be a purpose, although I do not know what that is. You are in our prayers and we sincerely hope that time may ease the pain. I truly believe that she lives in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Lois Chapman & Family

My deepest sympathy to the DeCosta Family. Carol was such a beautiful person. I enjoyed having many conversations about Politics, Religion and Life with her. She always had a funny story to tell. Her Laughter was so contagious. She had a special way to make people see the world through her eyes. To have known Carol, my life was truly blessed. I will miss her tremendously. God Bless.

My deepest sympathy to the DeCosta family. Carol always spoke of you all and how close you are. Carol will be greatly missed here at Virtua Home Care. But, I truly believe that she is on a beach in heaven right now with Pope John Paul on one side and Richard Millhouse Nixon on the other enjoying a cocktail and some lively debate. God Bless.

Carol was truly a rare and unforgettable character, that I feel fortunate to have known.
I will always remember her as a compassionate person who was blessed with a fantastic sense of humor. Carol always had a good story to share, and could always find humor in the most unlikely situations...normally involving herself, Linda, Paul, Rick or her parents.
Carol will be sorely missed.
I'm glad that our roads crossed.
I know she's going to have all kinds of stories when we all catch up.
Love, Pat Porter

I did not work directly w/ Carol, but many staff who did work w/ her on a daily basis absolutely felt Carol had unique, friendly, and jolly "gifts" to share. Her co-workers also felt her constant smile and jovial demeanor helped them to jofully complete "another day at the office".
Surely Carol stands next to Jesus, fully understanding all of God's Mysteries, and she can now watch over all of her loving family members forever.
May God Bless you and give you strength to carry on, as Carol would want you to do. Carol has found the Peace and Love of our Lord.
