Obituary of Martin J. Doherty

Doherty, Martin J. ? Marty,? 78, A retired Electronic Technician, of West Deptford, NJ on January 14, 2006. Marty was born in Philadelphia, graduated in 1945 from West Catholic High School and served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he spent 34 years as an electronic technician for General Electric of Philadelphia. Marty enjoyed his close association with St. Patrick?s Church as an usher. He loved his golf but most of all, his love of his family was his dominating motivation. Marty is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth ?Betty? nee Nieder, loving son Martin J. Doherty, Step children, Richard Gilligan, Patricia Iffrig and Barbara Feduska, dear sister, Margaret Doherty and predeceased his sister Eileen Otto, and 9 Grandchildren. Viewing Saturday morning after 8:30 Am in the MCGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME 34 HUNTER ST. WOODBURY. Funeral Mass 11 AM in St. Patrick R. C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
