Obituary of K. Darla Lombardo

Lombardo, K. Darla of Elkton, MD , formerly of National Park, NJ joined the Angles in Heaven on January 14, 2006. Aged 61 years. Darla was born in Camden. She worked most recently as a Sales Consultant for Enviro-Organic Technologies, but also had previously held jobs with many companies in the immediate area including, St. John of God Community, Underwood Memorial Hospital and the Cecil Whig Newspaper in Maryland. Among her talents, Darla was certified by the State of New Jersey to teach Sign Language. In the past, Darla taught Sunday School at the First Methodist Church of National Park and was a former Girl Scout Troop Leader in National Park. Among her many hobbies, She with her husband raised and cared for 6 cats but also saved more than 37 cats born in the wild and found loving and caring homes for them, made her husband Ed feel like a king, enjoyed taking photos of family , friends and pets. She will be remembered as a cheerful, full of life woman who Ed referred to as an ?Angel on Earth?. Beloved wife for 41 years to Edward Lombardo, who was her friend since the 2nd Grade. Loving sister of Jack Carol and Jerry Patricia Lynch. Devoted daughter of Katherine M. nee Johnson and the late Jack Lynch and George Brown. Dear sister-in-law of Christine Lee Ray Morenc. Cherished daughter-in-law of Joseph Lombardo. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral Service Thursday afternoon at 1 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, where relatives and friends may call after 10:30 AM. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
