Obituary of Joseph B. Winkelspecht

WINKELSPECHT, Joseph B. , age 80 of Woodbury, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2006. He was at the home of his son Joseph and daughter-in-law Deborah, surrounded by family. Joseph was born in Camden and raised in Gloucester City. He joined the U.S. Marines and fought in WW II. During this time, he met and married his beloved wife, Mary Nee Sacca and made their home in Woodbury. Joe enjoyed vacationing at the shore with his family, crabbing, fishing, playing cards and reading. He was a good friend to all who knew him, but most of all he was a wonderful family man who was devoted to his wife and large family. Joe is survived by his son Joseph and his wife Deborah of Pedricktown; daughter, Rosemary Chapman and husband Frank of Deptford; Grandchildren Danielle Nelson Fithian, Michelle Bryan Preston, Maureen Brian Bevis, Kelly Charles Perry, Jennifer Winkelspecht, Kyle Keller and Joey Winkelspecht. Great grandchildren: Courtney, Nelson, Tyler, Ashlee, Nickolas, Matthew, Anthony and the late Mary; Sisters-in-law Rita McKee, Mary Sacca and Stella Winkelspecht; Brother-in-law Albert Sacca. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Mary. Funeral service Tuesday 12:30 P.M. in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, where relatives and friends may call after 11 A.M. Interment New St. Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
