Beakley, Roland C. of Charlotte, NC , formerly of National Park, NJ on January 28, 2006. Aged 66 years. Roland proudly served in the U.S. Army, top in his class. He specialized in receiving and decoding messages from Russia using the Morse Code. He was a member of the Verga Fire Company. During his free time, he enjoyed bowling & racquetball. Roland will be sadly missed by all. Devoted husband of Annette L. nee Gleason. Beloved father of Michael, Angela Edward Wolf, Hilary Cuccia, Lynn and Jeannie. Dear brother of Edna Romine, Joyce Fairchild, Julia and the late Raymond. Loving grandfather of many. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
