Obituary of Claire V. Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick, Claire V. of Washington Twp., NJ suddenly on Feb. 3, 2006 Aged 84 years. Retired Educator and nurturer of Children. Claire was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio , TX with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. Later Claire received her Masters Degree in Music. She had the distinction of being named to Who?s Who in American Colleges. Claire retired around l980 from Chester Upland School District as a Music and Bilingual teacher. She enjoyed her stamp collection and her many hours as a philatelist. Claire not only nurtured children but her gardens, also. Claire was an active member of the Church of the Holy Family. Claire is survived by her sister Jean Gomez, a niece and a nephew. Many years ago Claire became an integral member of the extended family of Betty Corso. She has also been adopted by the McClain and Salvucci Families. Funeral Mass Friday 7:30 PM in Church of the Holy Family Hurffville Rd. Washington Twp. where friends may call after 6:30 PM. Friends may gather for her burial on Saturday 11 AM in Sts Peter & Paul Cemetery Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Claire?s memory to Society of the Body of Christ 234 Rossiter Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78441.
