Obituary of Edward J. Peterson

PETERSON?Edward J. of Mantua, NJ formerly of Southwest Phila on Feb. 13, 2006 at home surrounded by his adoring family. Aged 72 years. Ed was a longtime resident of Phila., where he graduated West Catholic High. He was a proud US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement in 1988 as lieutenant, Ed served as a firefighter for the City of Phila. For over 25 years. He enjoyed building model ships, doing crossword puzzles, was an avid Philly sports fan and liked to travel. He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Jean M. nee Silvestri, devoted father of Dianne Kelly Christopher and Thomas Peterson Patricia, dear brother of Elizabeth D?Alessandro, Hugh Peterson, Martha Miller, Paul Peterson & Kathleen Jackson, loving grandfather of Christine, Louie, Tommy, Gabriella, Gianna, Kathleen & Delaina. Viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM and Sat. 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., NJ. Funeral Mass Sat. 10:30 AM in the Church of the Incarnation, Mantua, NJ.
