Obituary of Edith L. Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Edith L. Nee Cloud, age 75, of Westville on March 11, 2006 following a long illness. Edith grew up in the Morgan Village section of Camden and was a 1948 graduate of Camden High School. Prior to her retirement, Edith was an employee of the Gloucester County Purchasing Department. She was a member of the Westville Fire Company Ladies? Auxiliary for over 30 years. Edith enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and the Jersey shore. She was also an avid walker, who enjoyed walking throughout Westville. Edith will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and above all, her love for her family. A special memory of Edith that will be treasured by many was her love of Christmas and her visits to family and friends as Santa Claus. Beloved wife for 55 years of R. Thomas Hutchinson. Devoted and loving mother of Joanne Jack Slotterback of Haddon Heights; Jayne Dan Brown Whorton of Crofton, MD; and Linda Fritz Sims of Westville. Dear sister of Evelyn Andrews of Audubon. Edith is also survived by the lights of her life, her grandchildren Jeffrey Kristan and Jamie Slotterback; and Kristi and Bryan Sims. Edith was predeceased by her parents, George and Evelyn Cloud and brother George Cloud, Jr. Viewing THURS. 6:30 to 9 P.M. and FRI. at 8:30 A.M. in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
