Obituary of John P. Glover

GLOVER?John P. Of Thorofare suddenly on Apr. 9, 2006. ?A kind hearted jokester who lived life to the fullest.? John was born in Woodbury and was raised in West Deptford, graduating from the High School there in 1973. Music was always a big part of John?s life and enjoyed being a drummer and would listen to his favorites on WMMR. He followed in his family?s tradition in construction and started his own general contracting business; ?Glover Construction?. John worked with his hands throughout his life, whether it be in construction, welding, working on cars or tending to his lawn. His love of the outdoors was intense and loved riding his Harley Road King. John was a member of the F&AM. His family and friends will remember John as a selfless guy who would do anything for anyone and always made people laugh with his endless joke telling. He is the beloved fiancee of Debra Byers, devoted son of Theresa M. nee Hamiliton and the late Edward C. Glover, loving father of Deena and Eric Glover, dear brother of Frank Glover and his wife Anna Marie, uncle to Laurie, Frankie, Kevin & Danielle and great uncle to Miranda, Cecilia, Colby and Vincent, former husband of Debra Glover. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate 51 great years on Thurs. at his viewing from 6-7:45 PM and his Lifetime Tribute Service at 8 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
