My Aunt Mary, I miss her so much. She has always been a strong force in my life. She was for me and my brothers and sisters. The Maitriarch of our family. Her own mother passed early in life. My father's mother early in mine. Aunt Mary in a lot of ways took that position. I can remember her smiles, hugs,Christmas at Lit Brothers where she worked, being taken on adventures/trips, she had away of giving you courage to face your fears and get back in the game. She would allow nothing to slow her down. Not even Cancer. After her surgeries. She would not give into any pain or accept anyone cottling her. She was determined to not give in..What I learned through adult eyes, she too had her fears, and she used her strength to fight fear away.
I wanted my girls to know her. They did for a short time and remember "Mary Tea" as the Domino Queen and the best Playdougher ever along with Water Coloring. They look into the sky on Sunsets to see how she is doing with her sky paints as she learns to Paint with the Angels.
Love and miss you..
