Obituary of Michael J. Short

Short, Michael J., Sr., loving husband and father, of Thorofare suddenly on April 23, 2006. Aged 44 years. Mike, the accountant, never had a dull moment. He was born in Philadelphia, graduated from West Deptford High School Class of l979 and Rowan University Class of l987, Summa Cum Laude with a BA degree in Accounting. For the past five years Mike has been employed with the American Shower and Bath of Moorestown . Mike enjoyed life to the fullest which included but was never limited to all sports and being devoted fan of both the Eagles and the Flyers but his true love was his family. Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Debra Lynn Nee Decker his sons, Michael John, Jr. and Thomas Anthony, his mother Janice and the late Robert Short, Siblings Robert T., Jr Linda, Philip H. and the late Pamela, Steven J. Coleen Short and Janice Brian Williams, and his mother in law, Gertrude Decker and her children; Anthony Francis Phyllis, William and Glenn Decker. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Viewing Thursday Eve 6 to 9 PM and on Friday 8:30 to 9:15 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Matthew R. C. Church. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
