Obituary of Arthur W. Hill

Hill, Arthur W., Jr., 62, of Thorofare died Friday April 28, 2006 in Underwood-Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. Art Hill was a loyal supporter of all Veterans causes. He served in the US Navy for 30 years as a Chief Boiler Technician. He was a veteran of Vietnam & Desert Storm. He was a member of many veterans organizations including, VFW Post 7125 of Verga; the Captain of District Honor Guard of the VFW; Assistant Sergeant of Arms for the State of New Jersey VFW; Amvets Post #77; American Legion Post #133; Army-Navy Union, Garrison #52; Fleet Reserve Assn, Branch #57; Military Order of the Cooties and the Disabled American Veterans, NJ Chapter 80. Mr. Hill was a member of the Gloucester Co. Veterans Advisory Committee and was instrumental in assisting the establishment of the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery. Art is survived by his wife, Elsa nee Seeds and daughters, Denise Terwilliger of Clarksboro and Jennifer Hill of Westville. He has five grandchildren. Brother of Margaret Edwards and Josephine Tyler. A viewing will be held from 6-9 PM Tuesday & 9:00-10:00 AM Wednesday in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Funeral services will he held at 10:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Military Honors will be bestowed at the Harleigh Crematory Chapel at 11:15 AM Wednesday. Interment will be at 10:00 AM Friday in the Arlington Cemetery Pennsauken. Donations: NJ Veteran's Home 85 E.
