Aunt Florence, you were such a loving, caring and generous person. You always placed others' needs before your own.
You helped our entire family and encouraged each and every one of us to accomplish our goals. You supported us emotionally and financially and taught us the true spirit of giving and dedication to family. You were truly an inspiration to me and hope that I can be a person you would have admired.
I am so happy that Joel and I were able to share so many times together with you. Our holiday and family dinners will never be the same. You always managed to spark a heated discussion with anyone who was up for the challenge. We will miss that.
I take comfort in the belief that you are once again with your family. Please tell my father I love him and miss him.
Rest in peace.
Roseanne

So distressed to have seen Verda's obituary, doubly so because my brother,John, was not here to learn the sad news. He would have been more saddened than I am. She was his favorite teacher from Thomas J.H.He always spoke well of her and I am certain he was not the only one of her students who was devoted to her. Peace and love, Umberto La Paglia Cherry Hill

Verda,
You were everything a friend should be- kind, loving, and caring.
I will miss our phone calls and visits so much,
yet I will cherish the memories of our times together.
Love,

Dear Aunt Florence,
You were and are the most kind, caring and generous person in our family. You were a pillar of strength to everyone. You have helped us all in good times and bad, and we are so thankful to have had you in our lives.
Through the years, you helped us with our sons college education, that was the greatest gift that anyone could have given us. We are so proud of our three sons and what they have accomplished in their lives. We know that you were just as proud. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for contributing to their education.
We are so glad that we were able to spend Easter Sunday with you, and you were able to enjoy our granddaughter Lauren and see how she has grown. It was a very enjoyable day.
Thanks so much for all the wonderful memories you have given us. We will sorely miss you.
Love Kathi and Joe Cavallaro

Aunt Florence,
I still to this day recall the time you took me to the theater and to walk around Penns Landing when I was little. I still have the picture you took of me backstage with one of the characters. That day was very special to me. I will also treasure the Pineapple Pinwheel recipe you shared and will think of you whenever I make them. You were a beautiful person. Rest in Peace.

Forence was everything that was said and more. She was no doubt an unselfish person. She was also very patient and caring as well. In remembering her I think of her sister Mary. They were inseparable and very much alike. Her brother, Uncle Joe, whom is very special to me/us and who I know, is somewhere in heaven renovating someone's house. And her father, Alfio, who was just the sweetest man. Florence will be missed by everyone, but I know she is now in a more serene place and is in God's loving care.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Cathy and Rich D'Adamo

Aunt Florence,
You have touched the lives of many. I can't tell you how many times I heard from my patients, did you have a relative that was a teacher in philadelphia? I would just smile and say yes. The last time this happened was on May 1, 2006 and I am sure it won't be the last.
I will never forget those holiday dinner conversations, the national geographic magazines, and the support you gave me and my brothers throughout our education. I hope we all have made you proud.
