DelTito, Joseph D. of Deptford, NJ on June 15, 2006. Aged 79 years. Born in Philadelphia, Joseph remained as a resident of the city for more than 50 years, until he and his wife moved to New Jersey and later settled in Deptford. Joe worked as a shipbuilder for the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard during World War II and later took a position as Building Maintenance Supervisor for A. Pomerantz & Co., in Philadelphia for more than 35 years until his retirement in 1989. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed traveling, golfing and playing cards. Most of all, Joe enjoyed the 59 years he and his wife shared as well as cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He is the beloved husband of Josephine. Loving father of Joseph M. Ruth Ann DelTito, Sally Thomas Speelman, Janet Larry Yeager and Jacqueline Frank Traino. Dear brother of Mary Notaro and Julie Crispino. Cherished grandfather of 8.
