Obituary of Albert E. Amorosi

AMOROSI, Albert E. of Woodbury Heights, NJ on June 18, 2006. Aged 81 years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Albert was a graduate of Southern High School and achieved a Bachelor?s Degree from La Salle University. He was a decorated WWII veteran of the Phillipines Liberation Campaign, serving in the 37th Division of the U.S. Army. For his heroism and bravery, Albert was awarded the Purple Heart medal, the Bronze Star medal and the Combat Infantry medal. For 20 years, Albert was a chemist for Ultrachem, Inc. in Wilmington, DE, where he became President and CEO before retiring in 2000. Albert was a former member of the Chester River Yacht & Country Club and The Rotary Club in Chestertown, MD. He also was a member of the Woodbury Heights Athletic Association. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, coaching baseball & softball, and going to Harrah?s casino. Albert was a devoted husband, father and patriarch, whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. Beloved husband for 58 years of Edith M. nee Pitt. Devoted father of Albert E. III Fran , Robert Lisa, Edward Donna, William, and Edith Amorosi and Kathleen Fran Pote. Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 5. Visitation THURS. 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. in St. Margaret?s RC Church, Third & Beech Sts., Woodbury Heights, NJ. Mass of Resurrection THURS. 11 A.M. in the church. Interment New St. Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
