Obituary of JoAnne Caira

CAIRA?JoAnne nee Murray of Gibbstown, suddenly on July 15, 2006. Aged 64 years. JoAnne was born April 9, 1942 in Philadelphia to the late Thomas & Alice Murray. She grew up in Philadelphia and Runnemede and worked for Acme Markets until her retirement in 2002. After retiring, JoAnne devoted her time to helping mentally challenged adolescents with a job assistance program, volunteered time with and served as vice president of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and the St. Michael?s Church rectory. She also was a member and past president of the Repauno Day Care Center, was a member of the Greenwich Township Board of Education and served on the Cultural Committee in Greenwich Twp. JoAnne will be remembered as someone who truly loved helping others. Beloved wife of 42 years to Anthony, Sr., devoted mother of Anthony, Jr. & his wife Nancy, Mark & his wife Kathy and Christopher, loving sister of Thomas Murray, dear daughter-in-law of Grace Rose DeSimone, loving grandmother of Claire, Emma and Grace. Viewing Tues. 7-9 PM and Wed 10-10:45 AM in St. Michael RC Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, NJ 08027. Funeral Mass Wed. 11 AM in the Church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
