Grant, Eugene F. ?Poppy?, of Turnersville, NJ formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, on July 23, 2006. Aged 69 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Eugene was a longtime resident of Philadelphia prior to moving to Turnersville, NJ ten years ago. ?Poppy?, as he was affectionately known by all, was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church and a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Washington Township. Prior to retiring, Poppy was a chemical pumper with Inolex in Philadelphia for 37 years. He was also a United States Army Veteran serving from 1958?1964. In his spare time, Poppy enjoyed reading and watching sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He will be remembered as a loving and quiet man who will be sadly missed. Beloved husband of Frances nee D?Agostino Devoted father and father in law of Vickey and Anthony Crescenzo, Lisa and Michael Cusato, Donna LaFrance, Vito and Maria LaFrance and Geneine and Mario Ramano. Dear brother of Margaret Fox. Loving Grandfather of Michael, Nicholas, Tiffany, Brandon, Reese, Kyle, Mario, Alexa and Aidan. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, 9:00?10:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Ganntown Road, Turnersville, NJ.
