Obituary of Alfred J. Rogers

ROGERS?Alfred J., Jr. of Westville Grove, suddenly on July 22, 2006. Aged 68 years. Al served with the US Army from 1956-1959. Prior to retirement, he worked as a truck driver for Teamster?s Local #676, Collingswood for 37 years. Al was a member of the VFW Post #2174 Westville Grove and the Deptford Elks. He and his family liked spending time at the Four Seasons Campgrounds in Woodstown . Al was a devoted season ticket holder of the Eagles for over 35 years. He enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra and loved spending time with his family. He is the beloved husband of Lorraine D. nee James, devoted father of Debra A. Tait & her husband David and Alfred J. Rogers, III, dear brother of Elizabeth Doman, loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 2. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thurs. 9-10:45 AM at Gateway Christian Church, 751 Delaware St., Thorofare, NJ 08086, where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
