NUZZI, Vincenzo James ?Jim? of Washington Twp, formerly of Oaklyn, on August 10, 2006. Aged 88 years. Born and raised in Camden, Jim had resided in Camden for many years. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran serving as a sniper and an Alamo Scout in the Pacific Campaign during World War II. For his service, Jim received 7 medals including a Purple Heart. For 30 years, he was the butcher and owner of Jim?s Market in Camden along with his wife, Edith. Before moving to Washington Twp two years ago, Jim and Edith had resided in Oaklyn for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting coins, watching the Phillies, and working on the computer, especially buying & selling on Ebay. Jim treasured spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and playing Bocci at Sunday picnics. He will be remembered as an easy going and giving gentleman, who had unrelenting strength. Beloved husband for 59 1/2 years of Edith Nee Piotti. Devoted father of Joseph Rosemarie and James P. Diana Nuzzi. Loving grandfather of Jana, Patricia, Marta, Lisa, Renee and the late James and great grandfather of 9. Dear brother of the late Michael, Pasquale and Constance Nuzzi.
