Obituary of Robert J. Donohue

DONOHUE, Robert J. of Thorofare, NJ on August 14, 2006. Aged 64 years. Robert was a member of Local Union #1823 in Philadelphia, PA for 34 years, prior to retiring in 2004. He was also a member of the Gallagher?s NYB and served in the United States Marines from 1961 ? 1967. Robert will be remembered for his impeccable care of his lawn and pool. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and was a father figure too many. He was a compassionate and loyal man who touched everyone?s heart. Beloved husband of 38 years to Betty T. nee Warrington; devoted father of Elizabeth Bill, Vincent Marta, Julia John and the late Mary Theresa; loving grandfather of Monica, Edward, Tori, Vincent, Erica, William and Robert; Dear brother of Vincent, Frances, Mary, Dotsy, Ellen, Phyllis, Cassy, Johnny, Anna and the late, Ruth, Thomas, Charlotte. Sadly missed by his best friend of 30 years, Lenny Cavalieri and loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Viewing Thursday, 6:30 ? 9 PM and Friday, 9-10 AM at the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 1100 N. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM at St. Matthews Church, 4th St and Monument Ave, National Park, NJ. Interment Gloucester County Veteran Cemetery, Williamstown, New Jersey.
