HAMM, Mary R. nee Reid, 84, of Deptford, NJ, formerly of Orchard Park, NY; on August 23, 2006. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, Mary was an active parishioner of St. Patrick Church. She was the cook at St. Patrick?s and also St. John?s Church in Paulsboro, NJ. In earlier years, Mary was employed at Mobil Oil Research in Paulsboro and Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen Law Office in Philadelphia, PA. Mary was also a Marine Veteran of World War II serving from March of 1944 ? January of 1946. While she lived in the Buffalo, NY area, she was former president of the Eleanor Roosevelt Club in Orchard Park, NY and the deputy chair of the Democratic party in Erie County. In her spare time, she loved to spend time at the casinos and to read for many hours of the day. She lived life to the fullest and lived it ?her way.? She will be remembered for her wonderful story telling and amazing memory. Beloved wife of the late, John F.; Dear Sister of Catherine M. Smith and the late Bob Reid; Devoted Mother of Carl J., John F. and his wife, Lee, Robert A. and his wife, Theresa, Paul F. and his wife, Dee, Cynthia A. Hamm and Todd D. and his wife, Kaye.; loving grandmother of Carl, Jr., Regan, Jonathan, Jennifer, Dang, Ta, Tum, Jackie, Jennifer, Jeremy, Colin, Kelsey, Patrick and great grandmother of Cassandra. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, 6:30 ? 9:00 PM and Saturday, 8:30 ? 9:30 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34, Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ. Mass on Saturday, 10 AM at St. Patrick Church, Euclid and Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ. Interment Gloucester County Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
