Obituary of Davie Joy Oriolo

ORIOLO, Davie Joy Nee Sherrod died at home in Woodbury on August 24, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Aged 84 years. Born in Groesbeck, Texas on January 6, 1922, Davie was a graduate of Groesbeck High School in 1940 and the Dallas Business School in 1942. She was a longtime resident of Woodbury, where she was a parishioner of St. Patrick?s Roman Catholic Church. Davie was a homemaker, who devoted her life to her family and home. She was a member of several local bridge clubs and enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Davie loved watching sports, especially Philadelphia sports teams. She will be remembered as a ?one of a kind? lady, who was devoted, loving and selfless. Her family will greatly miss her delicious Southern cooking. Beloved and dedicated wife of the late Dominic J.
