Obituary of Carl F. Hamilton

HAMILTON?Carl F., a longtime Washington Twp. resident, on Aug. 27, 2006, aged 93 years. Carl was born in Newark, OH and was a proud US Army Veteran of WWII. Prior to retirement, Carl was a successful chef and restauranteur; owning several restaurants as well as Hamilton Hills Miniature Golf. He was a member of the Woodbury County Club for many years where he enjoyed playing golf. Carl enjoyed woodworking and restoring old pieces of furniture; a hobby born from watching his grandfather customize railroad cars as a young boy. He is the husband of the late Maxine, devoted father of Virginia H. Leedy Richard, Jr., Susan E. Hamilton and Janie C. Zirbser Edward, Jr., loving grandfather of Michael Leedy, Julia Brown, Edward Zirbser, III, Gregory and Blair. Viewing Wed 9 AM and Funeral Service 10:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell. Interment private.
