Obituary of Bette V. Bender

BENDER, BETTE V. nee Leeds, 87, of Gloucester City, NJ; on September 10, 2006. Born in Gloucester City, New Jersey, Bette was a longtime resident and was a member of the Socialites . Prior to retiring, Bette was a secretary for the New York Shipyard and for JJ Henry and Company in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. In her spare time, Bette enjoyed holiday gatherings, reading and especially loved chocolate candy. She will be missed by her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Victor J. Bender; Dear Sister of Audrey Weber of Thorofare, NJ, Norman Leeds of Wilmington, NC, Joseph Leeds of Westville, NJ and the late, Ruth Boehner of California and William Leeds of Gloucester Heights, NJ; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
