Obituary of Charles F. Rodano

RODANO - Charles F. Of Woodbury Heights, NJ on Sept. 11, 2006. Aged 90 years. Prior to retirement, Charles? worked as a metal worker first for the US Naval Shipyard and then for the U.S. Mint. He was a devoted member of St. Margaret?s Church and active with their K.O.C. Charles enjoyed growing vegetables, going fishing in area ponds and lakes, reading a good book, spending time at the casinos and playing a good game of golf. Spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren - whom he would read to or play hide & seek with?gave him the most joy. He is the beloved husband of Josephine nee Merlino, devoted father of Anita Arizzi & her husband Mario, loving grandfather of Mario C. & his wife Maria and Danielle Desiderio & her husband Daniel, loving great grandfather of Mario, Matthew & Alexander, dear nephew of Fred Aliseo, also survived by many cousins. Relatives & friends may attend his viewing on Thurs. 10-11:15 AM in St. Margaret RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Beech St., Woodbury Hgts, NJ, where a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Church, 845 Third Ave., Woodbury Hgts., NJ 08097.
