Obituary of Thomas H. Cross

CROSS?Thomas H., Sr. of Turnersville formerly of Falkner, MS on Nov. 11, 2006. Aged 90 years. Tom was a member of the Carpenter?s & Joiners Union Local #8, Phila., for over 50 years. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps which built Tishomingo State Park in MS and later served as the athletic director and lifeguard there. He was a proud US Navy Veteran of WWII, where he served as a radar?s mate. Tom retired from Driscoll Construction, Phila., as a construction superintendent with over 40 years of service. He will be remembered as a strong man who worked hard to provide for his family. He is the beloved husband of 59 years to the late Lucille nee Ware, devoted father of his son, Thomas H., Jr. & his wife Dianna and his daughter, Brenda Sue Cross, loving grandfather of Brian and Scott & his wife Randy and great grandfather of Tommy, Emily and Ian.
