Obituary of Norman F. Dean

Dean, Norman F. "Skinny" of Paulsboro on Nov. 20, 2006 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 88 years of age. He is the beloved husband of the late Marion M. Nee Meckling, devoted father of Bonnie Gates and Marion Augostini, dear brother of the late Raymond Dean, Earl Dill, Elsie Grady, Jennie Dill and Nellie Dean, loving grandfather of Pamela Heister StephenFrank Augostini, Kimberly Zumbo John, Jason Gates and Karen Carpenter Drew and great grandfather of Jared Andrew Carpenter. Norman was a US Army Veteran of WWII. Prior to retirement in l977, he worked as a machinist for Mobil Oil, Paulsboro for 40 years. Norman enjoyed working part time as a security guard at Coastal Refinery for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing yard work, paintin around the house and spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Saturday 9:30 AM and his memorial service at 10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Interment with US Army honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowrs, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
