Obituary of William R. Schnarr

Schnarr, Dr. William R., of Woodbury, NJ died on November 27, 2006; age 78 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bill was a resident of Woodbury, NJ for over 50 years. Educated at Rutgers and the University of Pennsylvania, Bill was a Research Pathologist at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School for 30 years. He was also a United States Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Bill enjoyed fishing, camping and was an eclectic collector of items such as stamps and coins. He was an intellectually curious man who was very detail oriented. He will be remembered for his love of animals, especially his cats and his care of strays. Bill will be loved and missed by all that knew him. Beloved Husband of Margaret nee Manion Devoted Father of Peggy and her husband, Dr. John Adams, Kathryn and her husband David Beizer, William R. Schnarr, Jr. and John Schnarr and his wife, Gail. Loving Grandfather of Erika, Elizabeth, William III, Kristen, Racheal, Tanya, Joshua and Erich. Viewing on Tuesday, 6:30 ? 9 PM and Wednesday, 9 ? 10 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where there will be a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
