Obituary of Hilda Ruth Hamel

HAMEL?Hilda nee McLelland of the Greenfields Heights section of West Deptford on December 14, 2006. Age 89 years. Hilda was born and raised in Australia. She moved to the US and married the love of her life, Melvin, after meeting him during his break from active duty during WWII. Hilda was longtime member of Woodbury Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf and was a member of their bowling league. She enjoyed spending time with her family, socializing with friends, gardening and caring for her home of 50 years. She is the beloved wife of the late Melvin, devoted mother of Mel and his wife Kelly and Jay and his wife Ann, loving grandmother of Charles, Jaye, Crysta and Jeremy. Viewing 10:00 AM and Funeral Services 12:30 PM Friday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
