Obituary of Levarn C. Whetstone

WHETSTONE?Levarn C., Sr. of Lawnside went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 21, 2006. Aged 82 years. Lavarn was a veteran of WWII US Army Air Corps serving with Tuskegee Airmen. Prior to retirement, he worked for the medical div. of the Defense Personnel Support Center of Phila. for many years. He is the beloved husband of Patricia nee Lewis, devoted father of Lavern, Jr., Ronald, Gregory, Donald, Constance Brooks, Porsche and Jeanine Green, loving grandfather of 16 also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at 9:00AM and his funeral services at 11 AM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 134 White Horse Pk. S., Lawnside. Interment Brig. Gen. W. C.
