Obituary of Mary Scappa

Scappa, Mary E. ?Mooch? nee Haughey, of Wenonah, NJ, died on December 24, 2006; Aged 85 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mary was a resident of Oak Valley for 50 years. Mary was a waitress for over 50 years. She was married to the late Peter J., a former member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 322 in Winslow Twsp. Mary was devoted to her church and family and will be remembered as a feisty and optimistic woman who was generous to a fault. Beloved Wife of the late Peter J.; Devoted Mother of Florence and her husband, Albert Hans; Loving grandmother of Joelle and Frank Dempsky and John Heck and great grandmother of Haley, Lexi and Meghan Dempsky. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Friday, 10:30?11:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Mass 12 Noon on Friday at St. Margarets Church, Beech Avenue, Woodbury Heights, NJ Interment New St. Mary?s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
