Obituary of Hilda B. Buchert

BUCHERT?Hilda B. nee Szymborski of Thorofare on Jan. 5, 2007. Aged 95 years. Hilda studied to be a Registered Nurse. After graduation, she moved to and practiced first in Wyoming; then in California where she was honored to attend to the newborns of Elizabeth Taylor, Esther Williams and Shirley Temple. Returning to the East Coast, she settled in West Deptford, where she lived the rest of her life. Hilda worked for the Camden County Health Services for almost 40 years, retiring in 1980. In addition to her long career of caring for others, she enjoyed horseback riding and spending time outdoors and with her family. She is the beloved wife of the late George P., devoted mother of Peter and his wife Barbara, loving grandmother of Kristin Theckston and great-grandmother of Daniel and Nicholas, dear aunt of Maryrose Barron and great aunt of Lynne, Marie, Christopher and Meghan. Viewing Thurs. 8:15-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Thurs. 10 AM in St. Matthew RC Church, National Park. Interment Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly.
