Obituary of Anna Mae Gratz

Gratz?Anna Mae nee Moffett of Woodbury on January 22, 2007. Aged 85 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Anna Mae was a resident of Philadelphia prior to moving to New Jersey in 1985. She was a clerk for Sears in Philadelphia for many years prior to retiring in 1984. In her spare time, Anna Mae enjoyed traveling, especially to the shore, crocheting and was an avid reader. She also loved to dance and performed at the St. Matthew RC Church?s talent shows. Anna Mae loved animals and it was only fitting that in mid December when Anna Mae had a fall at her apartment late one night, that her neighbor?s dog, Precious Bailey was the one to hear her cries for help. It was Precious Bailey?s cries that woke her owner and Anna Mae was then rescued. Anna Mae will be remembered as a strong willed and kind hearted woman who always said what was on her mind. She will be sadly missed. Wife of the late, Joseph; Devoted Mother of Rosemary and her husband, Charles DeFusco, Joseph Gratz, Carol and her husband, Frank Jennings, Samantha ?Sue? and her husband, Rudy Picardi and Pat and Ron Hirsch; Loving grandmother of David and Kelly, Cindy and Chuck, Stephen and Marla, Frank and Stacey, Tina and Gene, Tim and Deb, Joseph and Becky, Tracy, Chris and Trisha, Alicia, Joe, Karen and Scott, Michael and Melanie and Angelo and Erica; great grandmother of many and Sister of Charles Moffett. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass on Thursday, 10:00 AM at St. Matthews RC Church, 307 Wesley Avenue, National Park, NJ. Interment private.
