Obituary of Artemia R. Asis

Artemia R. Asis nee Ruanto of Jersey City, NJ on January 30, 2007. Aged 83 years. Born and raised in the Philippines, Artemia was a School Principal for many years. After retirement, she moved to the United States at the age of 55. She was a Nursing Secretary for The Jersey City Medical Center for 15 years. In 1987, Artemia R. Asis founded Infanta Quezon USA Organization, a nonprofit organization. Its membership is made out of US immigrants from Infanta, Quezon Philippines, who now resides in the tri state area of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The organization?s mission is to ?give back to our needy town people? , assistance to improve their lives. Past projects done by the organization include: two Classroom building for the High School, additional ward to the Community Emergency Hospital, Medical Missions, food, clothing, medication donations. Beloved wife of the late Francisco Devoted mother of Benjamin Josefina Asis, Alfredo Asis, Alicia Andre Ocampo, Francis Emma Asis, Jr. and Herminia Asis. Loving grandmother of 7.
