Obituary of Mellicent M. Averion

AVERION, Mellicent M. of Washington Twp., suddenly on February 14, 2007. Aged 63. Mellicent was born in Alaminos Laguna, Philippines where she graduated from the National University of the Philippines with a degree in education. She worked there as a teacher until coming to the United States in 1979. In 1984 Mellicent started working for the New York Board of Education where she worked in Administration. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, traveling and cooking. Mellicent will be remembered for her quiet, sensitive and caring nature. Beloved sister of Romeo Averion, Rosie Averion-Diaz, Ruben Averion, Noemi Averion-Beato, Newton Averion, Noriel Averion, and Waynee Averion-Royes. Also survived by many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and best friend Didi. Viewing Saturday 3 to 7 PM, Sunday 5 to 7 PM and Monday 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the McGUINNESS-WASHINGTON TWP.
