Obituary of L. Thomas McCarty

McCarty, L. Thomas ?Tom? of Deptford, formerly of Lindenwold, peacefully on March 7, 2007. Aged 67 years. Born in Abington, PA; Tom has lived in the South Jersey area for most of his adult life. He served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves for 7 years and later worked in sales for Graphic Arts Inc. of Philadelphia for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1992. During his time with Graphic Arts, Tom attended Rutgers University where he was elected his class president and graduated in 1973 with a B.S. Degree in Business. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing and antiquing. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother and grandfather. Beloved husband of 46 years to Carol nee Fraley. Loving father of John Colleen McCarty, Jill Michael Gorman and the late Colleen Donato. Dear brother of James McCarty. Caring son of Leo and the late Virginia McCarty. Devoted son in law of John and the late Dorothy Fraley. Grandfather of Ronald & Julia Donato, Colin & Michael McCarty and Sean & Ian Gorman. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday after 11 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. Memorial Service 12 Noon, Monday in the Funeral Home.
