Schwarz, Alan W., of Sewell, NJ passed away on February 10, 2007. Aged 81 years. Born in Syracuse, NY, Alan was a resident of Sewell for the past 10 years and prior to that lived in Delaware County, PA; they also had a summer home in Ocean City, NJ for 40 years.. A 1944 graduate of Germantown High School, Alan was a actively involved in the school?s alumni. He was World War II Army Veteran and served in the Rainbow Division. After the war he attended Rensaleer Technical School and Harvard Business School. Alan then worked for US steel in Pittsburgh PA for 20 years. After his retirement, Alan owned the Drexel Hill Fabric Care Center in Drexel Hill, PA from 1978?1990. Beloved husband of the late, Kathryn nee Wolff; Devoted Father of Scott A. Schwarz and his wife, Grace DelGuercio and loving grandfather of Ryan Schwarz and Kathryn and her husband Michael Lamothe. Service were held privately.
