Obituary of Larry J. Stoelker

Stoelker, Larry J. Sr., 84, of Washington Twp. formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side March 10, 2007. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Larry served in the Air Force during World War II where he received the Good Conduct Medal American Defense Service Medal and the European, African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 6 Bronze Stars. After his time in the service, Larry joined the Glaizers Union in Philadelphia and enjoyed a 40 year career as a Union Glazier until his retirement in 1988. Away from his work, Larry enjoyed woodworking and trying his luck at the Showboat Casino with his late wife, Janis. Larry will be remembered as a quiet, family oriented, loving, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Beloved husband of the late Janis. Loving father of Victoria Stoelker, Patricia Skip Gribbin and Larry J. Rosanne Stoelker. Devoted grandfather of Adam, Kevin, Heather, Katie, Debbie, Annie, Matthew, Brett and Jeffrey.
