Obituary of Jane R. Hampton

Hampton, Jane R. nee Alley, 82, of Woodbury Heights passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 13, 2007. Beloved wife for 63 years of Edgar R. Devoted mother of Nancy Robert Seibert and Beverly Heard. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Michael Smedley, Bricie Ken Brannon, Scott Chambers, Andrew Heard III and Edgar Seibert. Great grandmother of Claire Scarlett Smedley, Kenneth, Alley and Alyssia Brannon. Jane was born in Philadelphia and raised in the Almonesson section of Deptford. She graduated from Woodbury High School and worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone as an operator for more than 28 years until her retirement in 1973. Away from her work, Jane enjoyed crocheting, sewing and boating but most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her two Edgar?s. Jane will be remembered for her quick wit and inquisitive nature. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Viewing Friday after 11:30 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
