Obituary of William Daniel Young

YOUNG, William D., 86, of Washington Twp. formerly of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. March 20, 2007 Bill was born in Elizabeth, NJ. He graduated from Newark State Teachers College with his bachelors degree and from NYU with his Masters Degree in Education. For the next 40 years Bill worked as a Woodshop Teacher at Linden High School. Away from work, Bill enjoyed woodcarving, gardening and traveling but his greatest passion was the time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bill will be remembered as a generous, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be truly missed by all who knew him. Beloved husband for 62 years of Elsie nee Zepht Loving father of Sharon Young Brecher Peter and Geoffrey Young Jean Devoted grandfather of Bradley, Douglas, Gillian and Frank Dear brother of Shirley Seelig. Memorial Service Saturday 11 AM in the MCGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Sewell Washington Twp., NJ 08080; where the family will receive relatives and friends after 10 AM.
