RAFFERTY, Leona A. on March 30, 2007 of Turnersville, NJ formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Francis A. Devoted mother of Francis A. Jr. & Arlene, Leona & Ned Tosten, Harry, Rita Whitehouse, Dennis & Christine Rafferty, Elizabeth & Charles Bissey, Timothy & Nancy Rafferty, and Christopher & Mary Ellen Rafferty. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Leona was born in Beckley, WV and traveled on her own, at the age of 17, to Philadelphia. She was a Past President of Philadelphia County Council & President of Frankford American Legion Post #211, and American Legion Auxiliary Member. Viewing Tuesday at 6:30 PM ? 9 PM at the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at the Church of Saints Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.
