Obituary of Rita E. Long

Rita E. Long nee Schilling of Woodbury, NJ, formerly of Oak Valley, peacefully at home on April 28, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Aged 85 years. During her career, Rita worked for Bell Telephone as an operator, Mantua-Tyco Metals, Ponzios, Woodbury Diner, Holly Inn and her last stop before retiring was Gateways Mardi Gras, where she was known to everyone as ?mom?. She was a member of St. Margaret?s Women?s Club, Rosary Society, a Greeter, Footlighters and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a Eucuristic Minister. During her free time, Rita enjoyed pinochle, vacations down the shore, reading and eating at her favorite restaurants. Spending time with her family gave her the most enjoyment in life. Beloved wife of the late Fred C. Devoted mother of Fred Shirley Long, Veronica ?Ronnie? Michael Gaudette, Sandra Ann ?Sandy? James Dowd, Larry Cindy Long and Bobby Suzanne Long. Dear sister of Bernadette Conrad Migala, the late Jack Schilling and the late George Marion ?Babe? Schilling , the late Robert and the late Donald.
