Obituary of William Elison

William ?Bill? P. Elison of National Park, NJ of on May 27, 2007. Aged 80 years. Hawaii, London, Paris, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland were some of the places Bill traveled with his wife, Elise. Bill was a wonderful and thoughtful man, who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and playing the slots at the casino. Bill proudly served in the Merchant Marines before entering the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, where he received the Purple Heart Medal. For 28 years, Bill was a machinist for Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA. He also worked in New York Shipyard for several years. A life member of the VFW Post # 6884 in National Park and the Golden Age Club of National Park. Beloved husband of Elsie nee Stevenson Beloved brother of late Thomas and the late Charles, brother in law of Betty Elison and Frances Smith. Loving uncle of Glen Theresa, Steven Annette, Richard and Chuck Sue Elison. Also survived by many niece and nephews. All services are PRIVATE.
